FCC GROVE
NEW HERE?
COMMUNITY OF BELIEVERS
Together we are a community of believers. What does that mean, the word community? We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The bible speaks about iron sharpening iron.
PLUG IN
Looking to get plugged in? We would love to help. We have a ministry for everyone. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us.
SMALL GROUPS
We believe that engaging in fellowship is a very important thing. Small groups allow for us to grow together as the body of Christ.
FELLOWSHIP
Looking to engage in a relaxed enviorment? We have small groups, mens and womens groups, and other informal gatherings to meet, develop friendships, and grow in faith with other believers.
COME AS YOU ARE
By all means, we want you to come as your are. One of our main goals here is to make sure you feel comfortable. When you walk through our doors we want you to feel welcomed and loved every single time. We understand that no one is perfect. The only thing we can do is love each other and extend grace.
FCC GROVE
BRING YOUR BIBLE!
We encourage everyone to bring their Bibles. We treasure the Word of God at FCC. It is our rule for faith and guide for daily living. God calls for us to dive into the Word, and we want to do that together. Our ministers and teachers use the Bible as the cornerstone to whatever they are teaching. Today many of us carry a Bible in our pocket without thinking about it, right on our phones. Feel free to pull out your smart phones and open up your Bible on whatever app you wish. There really is no reason not to have a Bible and be reading it everyday.
First Christian Church
A Growing Church
When you come to First Christian Church in Grove, you will find a growing church. You will find our campus in the heart of Grove, OK. We are located just one block from Highway 59 right behind City Hall. While just a group of buildings on an ordinary city block, these buildings reflect some of what makes FCC a growing and vibrant Christian community.
The Chapel (1) reflects both our heritage and our heart for worship. First Christian traces its roots to gatherings held in a public school building in 1900. The original building stood not far from our current chapel and was built in 1904. While our services today may look and sound different from the early 1900's, it is safe to say people have been praising the same God for over a hundred years in Grove, Ok and FCC is one of the reasons why.
The Fellowship Hall (2) reflects our desire to be a church that truly loves one another. We enjoy sharing life together in good times and bad. We want to be a place where every individual feels a part of the greater community of faith.
The Celebration Hall (3) reflects our continual growth. This multipurpose building was added to accomodate larger fellowship times, youth gatherings, and our contemporary worship service. First Christian Church is committed to continue to grow as God leads.
The Inspiration Hall (4) reflects our commitment to the next generation. We want to be teaching and training the next generation in the Word of God. Our Inspiration Hall is filled on Wednesdays and Sundays with youth of all ages growing in their knowledge and wisdom of God and His Word.
